A woman has been rushed to hospital Thursday morning in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in downtown 91大黄鸭.

An RCMP officer came across the scene of a pedestrian involved collision Dec. 1 at 10:51 a.m., in the intersection of Ellis Street and Leon Avenue in downtown 91大黄鸭.

"Preliminary findings at the collision scene suggest that the pedestrian was walking east across Ellis Street when she was struck by a grey Toyota Tundra pickup truck," said Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release.

"The pickup truck was in the process of making a left hand turn onto Ellis Street, from the eastbound lanes of Leon Avenue."

Both the pedestrian, reportedly in the marked crosswalk, and the vehicle involved were believed to be entering the intersection of Ellis Street and Leon Avenue on a green light.

The pedestrian, a 40-year-old 91大黄鸭, suffered what police believe to be serious however non-life threatening injuries as a result of being struck and knocked to the ground by the vehicle. She was immediately rushed from the scene to the hospital for treatment.

The driver, a 35-year-old 91大黄鸭 woman, remained at the scene and co-operated with the investigation.

The investigation into this crash remains ongoing at this time. Police are looking for any additional witnesses.
