This year, the Central Okanagan Foundation will administer $102,000 in community social development grants on behalf of the City of 91大黄鸭.

And local charities and non-profit groiups looking for money to help fund their innovative, prevention-oriented programs are encouraged to apply for grants under the program.

City community social development grants fund programs designed to improve the quality of life for residents in 91大黄鸭. Registered charities and non-profit organizations interested in applying for a grant can visit the city's website for application forms and supporting information.

鈥淭hese grants are an important source of funding for a number of organizations,鈥� said Louise Roberts, manager of community  and neighbourhood services with the City of 91大黄鸭.

鈥淭he grants help ensure the community can continue to benefit from the diversity of services, programs and amenities provided by these organizations.鈥�

Completed applications must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 and should be dropped off at the Central Okanagan Foundation office, located at 225-1889 Springfield Road.
