Deputy Chief Lou Wilde will become the Interim Fire Chief for the 91大黄鸭 Fire Department March 3 following the retirement of Fire Chief Jeff Carlisle.
Deputy Chief Wilde has been with the 91大黄鸭 Fire Department for over 30 years and has served as a Chief Officer since 2003. More recently Deputy Chief Wilde has led the Fire Prevention, Training and Administration Branch.
Deputy Chief Wilde has a wealth of knowledge and experience in 91大黄鸭 including fire and emergency management. The interim transition until a new Fire Chief is determined will be seamless.
The recruitment process for a new Fire Chief has begun and it is anticipated that the new Fire Chief will be announced in the spring.
