A vehicle inspection was ordered after a tractor-trailer drove off Highway 1 and into a rock face west of Sicamous.
The semi was travelling eastbound when it rolled into the eastbound ditch and rocks around 9 a.m. on Jan. 10. There were no injuries.
Sicamous RCMP Sgt. Murray McNeil said road conditions and visibility were good at the time of the incident, which saw a response from Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement (CSVE). Due to damage sustained in the collision, a notice and order was issued requiring a full inspection of the truck and trailer prior to their return to the road.
