More than 5,000 stuffed toys rained down on the ice Saturday night at Prospera Place in 91大黄鸭 during the Rockets' 4th annual Teddy Bear Toss.
On Sunday morning, members of the 91大黄鸭 Rockets took time out to deliver many of the teddys to appreciative patients at 91大黄鸭 General Hospital.
"It's really a nice Christmas event," said Bettina Muller, events and projects coordinator at KGH.
"It's a really tough time to be in hospital at any given time, but especially around Christmas, so it's nice to have these Teddy bears, a nice home, cozy feeling for our patients."
The Teddy Bears are provided to every patient, regardless of age, at KGH who wants one, as well as patients at all Interior Health residential facilities.
