A discussion grew unexpectedly heated during a Wednesday school board meeting.

Trustee Rolli Cacchioni lost his temper as the conversation turned to a previous meeting the school district had with the City of West 91大黄鸭 involving electoral equity.

Tension rose between chairperson Moyra Baxter and Cacchioni after Baxter made a comment about Cacchioni winking to trustee Chris Gorman who sat across the table.

鈥淚 can wink anytime I want,鈥� said Cacchioni. 鈥淚 don鈥檛 need to be mothered鈥� we鈥檙e here to discuss the students of the district, not whether I wink or not. Let鈥檚 get real, no wonder people are saying boards are irrelevant,鈥� he said.

鈥淲ell, it鈥檚 very rude,鈥� said Baxter.

Cacchioni spoke over Baxter, raising his voice as the argument continued.

鈥淣o wonder people think boards are dysfunctional,鈥� he said.

Baxter called Cacchioni鈥檚 actions childish.

The rest of the meeting proceeded without incident.
