Shoe Bank Canada will be collecting shoes at the Western Canada Hockey League playoff game between Victoria Royals and 91´ó»ÆѼ Rockets at Prospera Place.

Recently Big Brothers and Sisters Okanagan announced a collaboration with 91´ó»ÆѼ based Shoe Bank Canada to put shoes on kids and their families through a new program called Big Shoes – Little Feet.

Big Brothers and Sisters Okanagan run a school-based social and emotional program for over 3,000 children aged Kindergarten to Grade 7  in four school districts from Osoyoos to Salmon Arm.

This new program’s goal is to provide shoes to kids and their families that need them but can’t afford them.

Big Shoes - Little Feat will accept all types of gently used footwear but right now we need children’s footwear—runners, sandals, dress shoes and even winter boots.
