The Bruhn Bridge was the site of yet another motor-vehicle incident when a semi truck hit an SUV in the process of turning left off of Highway 1.

On Feb. 10 at 12:30 p.m., Sicamous RCMP responded to the collision at the intersection of Old Spallumcheen Road, immediately west of the bridge. While waiting to turn onto Old Spallumcheen, the SUV, occupied by its driver and her two children, was struck from behind.

鈥淎 witness told police that the SUV was stopped in traffic when it was struck,鈥 Sgt. Murray McNeil said in a Feb. 14 media release. He added that no injuries were reported, but the SUV was not driveable and had to be towed from the scene.
