Oliver/Osoyoos Search and Rescue was tasked out at 4:30 a.m. on March 13, to locate a missing woman in the Bridesville area.

Multiple rescue teams navigated tumultuous weather before locating a missing woman near Highway 3 west of Rock Creek on Thursday, March 13.

At around 4:30 a.m., Oliver/Osoyoos Search and Rescue (OOSAR) was tasked to locate the individual in the Bridesville area, between Osoyoos and Rock Creek.

Fighting "heavy snow conditions," crews found the woman safe and in good health by 10 a.m., the South Okanagan-based team said.

Crews from Grand Forks, Penticton and Central Okanagan also helped with the search, it added.

Mutual aid was provided by the RCMP Dog and Drone team.

It is unknown how long the woman was reported missing before OOSAR was first called to the area.
