An exhibit of landscape images will be the first show of the year at the George Ryga Arts and Cultural Centre in Summerland.
Canadian Landscapes, by Danielle Harshenin is a series of 13 landscape paintings, one for each province and territory in Canada.
The series was completed in. the summer of 2024.
Harshenin said she chose landscapes featuring notable landmarks every Canadian would recognize.
The exhibit runs from Jan. 30 to March 7, with an opening reception. on Feb. 1 from 2 to 4 p.m., with the artist in attendance.
The arts centre is at 9525 Wharton St. and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
