Victoria is the sexiest city in Canada while Colwood seems to have fallen out of lust, according to an annual online sales ranking.
PinkCherry is an online retailer of sexual health and wellness products, that ranks Canadian cities and towns based on consumer purchases from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024, generating two lists 鈥� the top cities and towns.
Victoria topped a list of 21 cities list ahead of (in order) Calgary, Alta., Edmonton, Alta., Ottawa, Ont., Winnipeg, Man., London, Ont., Surrey, B.C., Missisauga and Hamilton in Ontario and Halifax N.S.
Victoria was also given the superlative 鈥淓nchanting City鈥� by the business: 鈥淐aptivating us with its beauty and charm, this city reigns supreme as the destination for magical wands.鈥�
For context, Toronto was named 鈥淐uffed up Capital鈥� and Vancouver 鈥淏est Night Life鈥�.
Victoria fell to No. 63 among 365 cities and towns together, the later list was one Colwood once dominated. The West Shore community now ranks at No. 301 鈥� but Sooke cracked the Top 10.
Sooke snuggles up to Island counterpart Courtenay falling in fifth and sixth position in the list: Pembroke Ont., Petawawa, Ont., Cold Lake, Alta., Prince Rupert, B.C., Sooke, Courtenay, Whitehorse, Yukon, Nelson B.C., Spruce Grove, Alta. and Cranbrook B.C.
PinkCherry bases its rankings on the most sex toy sales per person for the Top 10 Sexiest Cities with populations over 300,000, and Top 10 towns with populations below 300,000.
