Original: A vehicle incident on Highway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden has closed the road.
The incident occurred before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23. The closure spans from Highway 23 North in Revelstoke to 14th St. North in Golden.
DriveBC haven鈥檛 clarified whether an alternative route is available or will be made available. An update is expected at 2 p.m. to provide more details on the incident, but until then drivers headed east or west in the region should expect delays.
