A youth was taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital following a collision Tuesday, April 15, involving a scooter and a passenger vehicle.
The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. in the 5300 block of 25th Avenue.
"The collision occurred in the crosswalk at low speed resulting in non-life threatening injuries to the youth," said Vernon North Okanagan RCMP Cpl. Tania Finn. "The driver remained on-scene and was cooperative with investigators."
Police spoke with numerous witnesses at the scene, and the incident remains under investigation.
