The City of 91´ó»ÆѼ is asking for feedback about its website starting .
The online survey and open discussion questions ask residents to assess the new website on aspects such as ease of finding services and information, understanding the information and the site’s visual appeal. The survey and open discussion will end April 18.
The new kelowna.ca, launched on Dec. 13, 2016, was built to make searching for city information and services easy. The navigation and structure were completely redeveloped to better connect users with city services.
The city’s many services are now directly integrated into the search and accessing a service is now just a click away. Drop down tabs on each page contain related content such as contact information, services, facility addresses and documents.
The City has also introduced a new way to connect with departments. Live Chat is now available on active living web .
The new sites, which include ylw.kelowna.ca and theatre.kelowna.ca, are also mobile responsive, making it more convenient to locate the service or information from any device.
In 2016, kelowna.ca received more than 5.6 million page views, which is approximately 15,300 page views per day, every day. This high level of use was the motivation to improve the user experience for one of the City’s most visited sites.
Residents can provide open-ended anytime.
