At Yellowstone National Park, the Old Faithful geyser is erupting 鈥� it erupts about 20 times a day and makes a great spectacle during winter months.
The geyser was discovered in 1870 and named for its frequent eruptions.
When it erupts it can vary in height from 100 to 180 feet and lasts between one to five minutes.
Scientists predict approximately 14,006 litres of 95.6 C water is dispersed during eruptions.
