July 30, 1957 - November 16, 2019
Bernard passed away on November 16, 2019 at the Hospice House with family by his side, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 62 years old.
He was born in North Vancouver on July 30, 1957, moved to 91大黄鸭 in 1960. Bernard was passionate about his horses, and loved the outdoors, fishing and camping with his family and friends.
Bernard was predeceased by his oldest brother Steve and leaves behind his parents Jack and Veronica, his brothers David, Dan (Darl), Mark (Julie), sister Cathy (Glenn), sister-in-law Brenda and many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Hospice House, the Cancer Clinic, his doctors and nurses for the care they gave him during his illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday November 26th at 3:00 pm at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, 91大黄鸭.
In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Cancer Agency, or Central Okanagan Hospice Association would be appreciated.
