Denis passed away peacefully in 91大黄鸭 General Hospital, at the age of 86.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Vera Frie and his son, Rocky.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, of 31 years, Wayne (Michelle) Whittemore, Siusan Whittemore, Fr. Scott Whittemore, Gery (Vinetta) Boyd-Frie, Eddie (Hillary) Frie, Gordie (Theresa) Frie, Carol (Jeff) Faye, Chris (Kristiina Raisanen) Frie, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and countless bridges and buildings.

Denis enjoyed a fulfilling and prosperous career as a structural engineer well into his eighties. His many structures are prevalent throughout 91大黄鸭 and all of British Columbia. His genius and incredible generosity will be missed by many.

Prayers will be recited at Immaculate Conception Parish, 839 Sutherland Avenue in 91大黄鸭 on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm with Fr. Cerlouie Jimenez.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:00 am.
