HUGHES, Derek Vernon

Born July 29, 1937 in Audenshaw, England and died on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in 91大黄鸭, BC, at the age of 79.  Survived by his loving wife Rita; daughters: Debbie Hughes-Armstrong (Jim Armstrong) of 91大黄鸭, BC, Angela Hughes (Dan Bourgeois) of Vancouver, BC; sister Rita Bridge (Desmond) of Cheshire, England; and niece Diane (David) Porter.  There will be no service by request.  A special thank you to the staff at 91大黄鸭 General Hospital for their kindness and care in his final days.  Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Lakeview Lodge and his primary care physician, Dr. A.
