Dylan Mitchell Hare

November 19, 1997 - October 12, 2017

Dylan passed away tragically on October 12, 2017 at the age of 19.  He was born in 91大黄鸭 on November 19, 1997 to Donovan and Ruth Hare (nee Kranabetter). 

Growing up in 91大黄鸭, Dylan enjoyed many sports and activities ranging from soccer, football, skiing, wakesurfing, video games, and camping. 

He had fond memories of attending Glenmore Elementary, KLO Middle and KSS schools in the French immersion program.  Basketball was by far Dylan's greatest passion and he played on his school and various club teams. 

In Grade 10, Dylan started to program computers and he never looked back.  He spent the last two years as a software engineer working for Acro Media in 91大黄鸭.  During this time he studied computer science at UBC Vancouver.

Dylan's charm was felt by many.  He enjoyed making friends and spending his free time with people.  Dylan had an adventurous spirit and an inquisitive, sharp mind.  As an athlete, he was a strong competitor and generous teammate. 

Dylan will be greatly missed by his older brother Nathan of Vancouver, his younger sister Rachel of 91大黄鸭, his parents, his grandfathers, Tom Kranabetter of Lake Country and Carl Hare of 91大黄鸭, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 1:00 pm at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, 91大黄鸭.
