Passed away peacefully at Brookhaven Care Home in West 91大黄鸭 on Monday April 23, 2018, just short of his 91 birthday.

A devoted and loving husband of 65 years to Esther (nee Stanton). Loving father of Donald and his wife Elena, and Donna (Zwickel ). Proud Grandfather of Shayne (wife Andrea), Collin, Yuri (wife Svetlana). Great Grandfather of Mia and Michael, Son of late Clement & Erna Schultz. Surviving relatives (Krentz, Kuhn, & Mjolsness families).

Gerry was born June 21, 1927 in Bruderheim, Alberta. He began his married life and career as a Fireman at the #1 Station in Edmonton, Alberta; eventually moved his family to Salmon Arm upon purchasing the Shuswap Motel; and finally settling in 91大黄鸭 where he was a Land Developer and Construction Contractor for many years. Gerry was good at sports, loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and tinkering - always curious about new things; competent in many trades which lead him to take great pride in helping others.

He will always be remembered as kind, gentle, man of deep faith and genuine concerns for others, and many special times spent with treasured family and friends. A private family burial will be held on his birthday and a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
