In loving memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian William Cameron, a long-time resident of 91大黄鸭.
Predeceased by his parents William "Bill" and Shirley Cameron and brother-in-law Rick Grassick. Survived by his children, Alex, Branden (Sara), and their mother, Robyn; his sisters, Lorraine Cameron (Jim Harker), Heather Grassick, Janet Cameron, his grandson Hunter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ian showed remarkable resilience and determination in the face of Parkinson's disease and diabetes. Despite his impairment, Ian remained an active participant in life, enjoying activities such as cycling and participating in triathlons. He was a proud member of the "Just Giver 4PD" cycling group, which aimed to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease and promote physical activity for those affected by it. Ian was also a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands. His life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and positive outlook.
No formal service is planned in accordance with his wishes. We wish to extend our thanks to the staff at David Lloyd Jones Home, and to Ian's physician Dr. Christopher Outram for their very compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ian's name to Diabetes Canada or the Parkinson's Society of Canada - or join us in September for the Parkinson's Superwalk.
Ian will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those who were inspired by his example.
