Jack passed away peacefully at Cottonwoods in 91大黄鸭 BC on May 12, 2017 at the age of 71. He worked as an electrician with various companies before working 25 years at the University of Alberta on maintenance heating and air conditioning and instrumentation before retiring in 2000.

His wife Mary Jane (Nichols) of 47 years and his daughter Lisa were by his side. He is also survived by his twin sister Joan Patterson, brother Dave (Jo-Ann) Patterson; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Ed) Powell, Judy (Ross) Rogers, Marlene (John) McLeod, Theresa (Harvey) Hoskins, Kathy (Steve) Rairdan; brothers-in-law, Ron Nichols, Charlie (Donna) Nichols, Roger (Barb) Nichols, Tom (Norie) Nichols, Michael (Christine) Nichols; Mary Jane鈥檚 step-mother Rose; as well as many cousins, and many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in 91大黄鸭 at Everden Rust Funeral Services (1910 Windsor Rd.) on June 9 at 2:30pm.
