It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Lisa Wensink of 91大黄鸭 passed away on September 6, 2019, at the 91大黄鸭 General Hospital at the age of 51.
Lisa spent most of her life in 91大黄鸭. She and her husband Richard were married in 1993; together they built a loving and fulfilling life. Lisa's kindness, humour and positive outlook affected all who knew her, personally and professionally. Lisa found her calling when she became a registered nurse. Because of her concern and compassion for those struggling with mental illness and addiction, Lisa's professional life was spent making a positive difference in the lives of many of the most vulnerable in this community.
Lisa is survived by her husband Richard; mother Beth Sivak; siblings Theresa and Geoff Ferrey, Judith Sivak, Laura and Wilf Long, Jim Sivak, Allison Sivak; father and mother-in-law Gerry and Dorothy Wensink; brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Kathy Wensink, Henry and Jenny Wensink, Diane Wensink, Janet and Scott Daniel; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
As a final result of Lisa's generosity, several people have benefited from her organ donations.
Lisa's family would like to express their deep gratitude for the care Lisa received in the critical care unit at the 91大黄鸭 General Hospital.
