On April 5, 2018 our beloved Mom Lois was reunited in heaven with her husband 'Peb' (Gaston) her sons Doug and Paul and her grandson Joe.

Mom was born and raised in North Bay Ontario, where she met and married our Dad 'Peb' in 1950. They raised six children. Mom loved kids, dogs, flowers and birds and was well known for her kindness towards all. Mom always found the good in everyone. Even in her later stages of dementia, if her path crossed that of a child or a dog she smiled brightly, and it made her happy. But nothing made our Mom happier than spending time with her family. She was loved.

Left to mourn Mom are her children, Bob and wife Theresa Carbonneau, Jill and husband Leonard Verhelst, Bill and wife Cecelia Carbonneau, LiseAnne and husband Rick Doiron, daughter Jane and daughter in law Shirley Carbonneau.

Lois also leaves behind grandchildren Mike Verhelst, Allison Barton and husband Andrew, Jennifer Verhelst, Fran Nikki and Emi Carbonneau, Marissa and Andrew Carbonneau, Steve Neale, Kevin Carbonneau and Matthew Doiron. Her great grandchildren, Callum Verhelst and Harrison, Oliver and Jack Barton.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Moms caregiver John at Eldercare for his love and kindness to our Mom this past three and one-half years. To Moms Doctor, Dr. Rachel Carver, who cared for our Mom for many years. Mom spent the last few days of her life at 91大黄鸭 Hospice House who showed our Mom and our family nothing but kindness.

A celebration of Moms life will be held this summer and will be announced.
