Letter: Do drug users have rights?

Does a thief have the right to carry a gun, does an alcholic have the right to drive his car?

As much as I can sympathize with an addiction, I have to express some concern about people who are using illegal substances having any rights.

Does a thief have the right to carry a gun, does an alcholic have the right to drive his car?

Just wondering where 辫别辞辫濒别鈥檚 rights come in when 迟丑别谤别鈥檚 illegal activity - and please 诲辞苍鈥檛 give the Supreme Court any more ideas to let the Charter of Rights be expanded.
