To the editor:

How often does Coun. Gail Given drive on Highway 97 without any passengers? Has she ever experienced the frustration of trying to move into the HOV lane in order to turn right? If yes, how often?

Alistair Waters鈥� article on page A1 鈥淕et Out: A 91大黄鸭 councillor lashed out at lone drivers who use the HOV lane鈥� doesn鈥檛 mention Given鈥檚 own driving experiences on Highway 97. Perhaps he can ask her (and all other council members) the same questions for a follow-up article.

If you haven鈥檛 read it, Page A7 of today鈥檚 Capital News (Jan. 30) published some of the Facebook comments regarding the HOV lane, with the headline:

鈥淩eaders weigh in on 91大黄鸭 councillor鈥檚 reaction to HOV lane鈥�

I encourage the entire council to go to and read ALL the Facebook comments on the issue.
