To the editor:

We stopped for lunch around noon at the Satang Thai restaurant in Glenmore on Thursday, June 9. After the lovely meal, we asked our waitress for the bill. She informed us that it had been paid by a group at a nearby table. Apparently, their bill had been paid for by a couple at yet another table who had already departed. I asked if we could pay for a 3rd couple across the room. 鈥淣o鈥�, she said, 鈥渢heir tab was settled as well.鈥�

Intrigued, we inquired about two ladies in a corner seat. They had not paid, so we picked up this tab. I am wondering how many of you have experienced a serial random act like this? It sure made our day, and I wonder if it carried on to a fourth or fifth level? And to you out there who were celebrating your son鈥檚 graduation, thank-you and God bless you.
