Bradly Nadeau is heading to the big leagues.

The 18-year-old forward who led the Penticton Vees to back-to-back Fred Page Cup titles in 2022 and 2023 has signed an entry-level deal with the Carolina Hurricanes, the NHL club announced.

鈥淏radly is a dynamic forward with a powerful shot,鈥 said Hurricanes president and general manager Don Waddell. 鈥淗e had a very impressive season at Maine, and we鈥檙e excited to see his development continue in professional hockey.鈥

The three-year pact will see Nadeau receive $855,000 at the NHL level in 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. He鈥檒l carry a salary of $82,500 if he plays in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Nadeau registered 113 points in 54 games in his final season with the Vees in 2022-2023, capping off his Junior 鈥楢鈥 career last May by winning both the Fred Page Cup and league鈥檚 MVP award.

One month later, the Vees鈥 leading scorer was selected by the Hurricanes in the first round of the NHL Draft.

The New Brunswick product played alongside his brother and former Vees teammate, Josh Nadeau, at the University of Maine in 2023-2024.

Nadeau鈥檚 deal with Carolina includes a signing bonus of $285,000.
