It's a massive weekend in the 91大黄鸭 sports scene.

Montana's Brier

The biggest sporting event to take place in Canada so far in 2025, is finally here as the 2025 Montana's Brier men's curling championships begins on Friday, Feb. 28.

Happening at Prospera Place, the best 18 teams in the country will hit the ice looking to become the best team in Canada. The teams feature some of the best curlers in Canada and represent each province and territory. There are two teams from Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario (one called Northern Ontario). There is also Team Canada, featuring Brad Gushue, who is looking for its fourth straight Brier championship.

The action begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and the tournament runs until Sunday, March. 9. The full schedule can be found on the Curling Canada .

Black Press Media will be providing coverage throughout the event.

91大黄鸭 Rockets

After playing two games against the Prince George Cougars during the week, it's a one-game weekend for the 91大黄鸭 Rockets, who have been struggling over the last month.

The Rockets (17-35-4-2) are set to play game four of their eight-game road trip on Saturday night (March 1) against the Red Deer Rebels (21-28-5-2) at Peavey Mart Centrium.

Going into the contest, 91大黄鸭 has lost 17 of their last 18 games, collecting just four points in that stretch.

Puck drop is at 6 p.m. Pacific time.

West 91大黄鸭 Warriors

The West 91大黄鸭 Warriors are set to play two games this weekend as the playoff race tightens in the BCHL's Interior Conference.

Heading into the weekend, the Warriors (17-21-5-2) hold the eighth and final playoff spot in the conference, sitting one point behind the Okotoks Oilers and four points ahead of the Spruce Grove Saints.

Losers of three games in a row, the team will look to get back in the win column on Friday night as they hit the road to take on the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (24-13-7-0). The following night, they'll return home to Royal LePage Place and welcome the Nanaimo Clippers (22-18-4-0) for a rare visit.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. on both nights.
