The 91´ó»ÆѼ Chiefs' three-game winning streak ended with a close 4-3 loss to the Columbia Valley Rockies at Rutland Arena on Saturday (Nov. 30).

The game was a back-and-forth battle. The Chiefs got goals from Matt Fraser (4), Matt Saretsky (6), and Luke Rishaug (9, who added two assists on the night. Carter Velker scored the game-winner for the Rockies at 1:59 of the third period.

91´ó»ÆѼ was outshot 39-33 and went 0-5 on the power play. Before Saturday’s loss, the Chiefs had picked up wins against Osoyoos, Princeton, and Fernie, starting on Nov. 16.

With the loss, 91´ó»ÆѼ is tied for last place in the Bill Ohlhausen Division with Osoyoos at 20 points. The Chiefs hold a 9-9-0-2 record.

Their next game is Tuesday (Dec. 3) when they travel to Princeton to face the Posse.
