The Rink Academy Hockey 91大黄鸭 Female U18 Prep Team will be at three McDonald鈥檚 locations on Dec. 10 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. to raise funds for the food bank.
Four members will play for Team Canada and compete in the 2025 IIHF U18 Women鈥檚 World Championship in Vantaa, Finland, from Jan. 4 to 12. The Rink Academ Team is ranked first in the their league and second in the country. Team Canada鈥檚 first game is against Team Slovakia on Jan. 4.
The McDonald鈥檚 restaurant operators have agreed to partner with the team. The locations are 2120 Harvey Avenue, Hollywood Road and Highway 33 in Rutland, and Reid鈥檚 Corner (Highway 97 and Old Vernon Road).
