It was a weekend to remember for Okanagan Ski Team (OST) member Kael Oberlander at the Nor Am Cup Series Races #1 and #2.

From Dec. 13-15, Nakiska Mountain Resort hosted the event as some of the top Nor Am Ski Cross from Canada, the United States, Australia, and Europe were in attendance to compete in the challenging event series.

Over 40 athletes took place in the action with Oberlander winning a gold and silver in the women's category.

In the men's category, Finley Cashin finished sixth and eighth in his races.

Both skiers are also alumni of the Big White Ski Club (BWSC).

"Nakiska always provides a world-class venue for ski cross, and this weekend was no exception," said BESC program director Trevor Haaheim. "Both Kael and Finley pushed their limits and demonstrated the incredible talent that continues to come through the ranks in ski cross."
