A Penticton soccer team is moving on to represent the Okanagan at the upcoming provincial championships in Langley.

The Pinnacles FC Excelsior U17 Boys used a 2-0 victory against 91大黄鸭 United FC on Saturday, June 24, to qualify for the BC Soccer Provincials, set for July 13 to 16.

After dropping a pair of matches against their rivals to the north during the regular season, Penticton鈥檚 squad wrote their own redemption story in the Central Okanagan to defeat 91大黄鸭 for the first time this season.

Penticton鈥檚 win eliminated 91大黄鸭 from contention to compete in the provincials.

According to Pinnacles FC, the U17 squad overcame a number of injuries this season en route to their pending provincials appearance.
