The Powell River Kings traded defenceman Landen Hilditch to the Penticton Vees in exchange for future considerations, the BCHL clubs announced this week.
Hilditch, 19, started the season serving as captain for the West 91大黄鸭 Warriors before his playing rights were dealt to the Sunshine Coast on Nov. 24.
The Surrey product, who has two assists in 18 games this season, is currently sidelined with an upper-body injury and won't return to the ice until February, club officials said.
His father, Todd Hilditch, played two seasons for the Penticton Knights from 1986 to 1988 and was drafted by the NHL's Washington Capitals.
鈥淟anden brings experience, size, and leadership to our blueline," said Fred Harbinson, the Vees' president, general manager and head coach. "He has played over 100 games in this league, was the captain of his former team, and comes from a hockey family. We look forward to adding him to the fold."
