The 91大黄鸭 Raiders will be looking to bounce back this week after suffering their most lopsided setback of the Thompson Okanagan Senior Lacrosse League season.
On Friday at Memorial Arena, the Raiders slipped to 1-5 on the year with a decisive 20-6 loss to the Armstrong Shamrocks.
Despite a solid effort by 91大黄鸭鈥檚 two goaltenders, Graham Cousins and Tanner Belsham (48 combined shots), 91大黄鸭 was unable to contend with the offensive power of the Shamrock forwards.
The Shamrocks controlled the ball at both ends of the floor, while the Raiders struggled to muster any sustained offense.
Brett Hawreys and Kyle Versteeg paced Armstrong鈥檚 attack with four goals each.
For 91大黄鸭, Cody Evans, Victor Wiens, Ryan Lindstrom, Joe Brown, Pho Heng and Mitch Brodt each scored single goals.
The Raiders return to action this Friday night when they visit the Kamloops Rattlers.
The Raiders鈥� next home action is Sunday, June 18 at Rutland Arena against Kamloops.
