91´ó»ÆѼ Rockets

The Rockets are looking to get back into the win column as they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds in a home-and-home series this weekend.

On Friday night, the two teams will face off at Prospera Place at 7 p.m., followed by meeting at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Both teams have been struggling of late, as they're each 2-8-0-0 in their last 10 games, the worst 10-game stretch in the entire WHL.

Going into the weekend, the Rockets sit on the outside looking in in the playoff race. They sit ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 15-20-2-1. This season hasn't been Seattle's either, as they are last in the West at 13-25-2-1.

In their only match-up so far this season, 91´ó»ÆѼ beat Seattle 5-3 on Nov. 13.

West 91´ó»ÆѼ Warriors

The Warriors are off this weekend because its BCHL All-Star Weekend, taking place in Salmon Arm from Jan. 17-18.

Forward Jackson Kyrkostas is the team's lone representative in the BCHL’s 3-on-3 All-Star Tournament. Kyrkostas leads the Warriors in points with 34 (seven goals, 27 assists).

Forward Sam LeDrew has been added to the 2025 Top Prospects Game on Jan. 17, but will be suiting up for the Coastal Conference as he is replaced an injured Chilliwack Chief. LeDrew leads the Warriors with 14 goals this season. 

91´ó»ÆѼ Chiefs

In KIJHL action, the Chiefs will take on the Sicamous Eagles on Friday night at Sicamous & District Recreation Centre and then return home to Rutland Arena take on the Kamloops Storm on Saturday.

91´ó»ÆѼ is coming off of a home-and-home series with the Osoyoos Coyotes, in which they split with a overtime loss and an overtime win. They remain last in the Bill Ohlhausen Division with a record of 11-16-1-3.

Sicamous is third in the division at 20-8-5-0 while Kamloops is second in the Doug Birks Division with a record of 15-15-1-0.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. both nights.

On Friday night, UBCO is hosting their fourth annual Pride Night, "where both teams will celebrate inclusivity on our campus and in sport," reads a UBCO press release.
