The West 91大黄鸭 Warriors will be looking for a better result than their last trip to Penticton when they visit the streaking Vees on Friday night in BCHL action. Face off at the South Okanagan Events Centre is 7 p.m.
Last Friday night, the hometown Vees shutout West 91大黄鸭 3-0. The Warriors (17-13-1-1) sit in fifth spot in the Interior Division, five points back of the Vees (20-5-1-2) who have won 10 consecutive games.
The Warriors ended a three-game slide on Saturday night with a in overtime.
RJ Murphy connected for the game winner, his ninth of the season, at 2:36 of overtime. Nik Amundrud, 20, was solid in the West 91大黄鸭 goal making 45 saves on 48 shots.
Christmas hamper night
The Warriors will then finish off their pre-Christmas schedule with three straight games at home, including Saturday night against the Trail Smoke Eaters on Christmas Hamper Night. Face off at Royal LePage Place is 7 p.m.
A loonie from every ticket will be donated to Pastor Don鈥檚 Christmas Hamper Campaign.
West 91大黄鸭 will host the Vees on Dec. 15 and Powell River on Dec. 17.
