The West 91大黄鸭 Warriors have won their last three games in row.

The West 91大黄鸭 Warriors wrapped up the weekend with a 3-2 win over the Blackfalds Bulldogs on Sunday (Jan. 12), in front of a sold-out crowd at Royal LePage Place for Hockey Day in West K.

Tyler Grahme (4) got things started for the Warriors midway through the first giving West 91大黄鸭 a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs answered back four minutes later on the power play, with Gates Omicioli ( 7) tying it up.

Early in the second period, West 91大黄鸭's power play delivered with Ian Alonso burying his second power-play goal in as many games to put the Warriors back on top, 2-1.

Grahme (5) scored his second of the night 12 seconds into the third period, making it 3-1 for the Warriors. Blackfalds didn鈥檛 go quietly, pulling within one midway through the third on a goal by Jason Davenport (3), but West 91大黄鸭 held firm.

The win gives West 91大黄鸭 a three-point cushion over Okotoks for seventh place in the Interior Division as the league heads into the BCHL All-Star Weekend. The Warriors return to action on Friday, Jan. 24, hosting the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for Peachland Warriors Night.
