Tourism Revelstoke is calling on biking enthusiasts to hit Revelstoke's expanding trail network. 

In a new promotional , Tourism Revelstoke showcases the mountain town's extensive mountain and trail networks which welcome cyclists of all levels. 

The video features mountain bikers gearing up and hitting Frisby Ridge trail which offers bikers alpine trails with 360 views. The video also features road cyclists who push their limits on Revelstoke's roads, encapsulated with epic mountain views.

In a press release from Tourism Revelstoke, the biking experience in Revelstoke is described as catering to "thrill seekers, casual riders, and everyone in between."

That 'something for everyone' is further described by Revelstoke's "trails in the area offer everything from rain forest climbs and challenging descents to alpine epics and technical coastal-style rides." 

Revelstoke's famed resort, known for being North America's longest vertical often gets attention during the winter season for its long and steep drop, but it can also be enjoyed by bike, and this is something that the resort has been busy developing. Revelstoke Mountain Resort's bike part is B.C.'s newest lift-accessed bike park and has both tech and flow trails. 

Biking enthusiasts are also gearing up for Revelstoke's biggest biking event of the year-Revelstoke Bike Fest which runs from September 5-8. The event kicks off with a fundraiser at Mount Begbie Bewing, on Thursday, September 5 with the Revelstoke Cycling Association. 

Friday, September 6 will feature the Mega Bike Showdown from 5-11:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by the reigning king of BikeFest, Brent Strand. The event is described as a head-to-head elimination challenge that pits riders against each other over mini-games including bike-sumo and the popular bike-jousting.

Saturday, September 7 will see 150 women race in Revelstoke's Women's Enduro race. The event aims to challenge racers but ultimately puts the spotlight on camaraderie and fun. "We believe in camaraderie, challenging yourself, finding your limits, giving back to the biking community and most of all, fun," said Revelstoke Cycling Association. 

The weekend wraps up with Revy 50 on September 8 at 8:30 a.m., commencing at Grizzly Plaza. The infamous bike race will return for its third year with 50 km of riding. An award ceremony will follow at Chubby Funsters.
