MaxineNew business Cryo Care has opened at 1561 Sutherland Ave., owned by Taylor Saukarookoff.

Cryo Care offers a new form of holistic health care called whole body cryotherapy. Whole body cryotherapy was invented in 1978 to treat rheumatoid arthritis. The therapy migrated to Europe in 1984 where the technology got refined to where it is today. The therapy is now implemented in hospitals in Europe and getting medical coverage through various insurance providers. Whole body cryotherapy is exposing the body to low temperatures for a short period of time. In this cold environment, the body pulls blood from the outer tissues to the inner core to keep the vital organs w arm. Once the blood is in the inner organs,

Cryocare it goes through an internal cycle where it is cleaned of toxins and infused with nutrients and oxygen. Endorphins and hormones are also released during the process. After the whole body cryotherapy session, the blood returns to the outer tissues aiding to remove more toxins, stop inflammation and carries with it many other health benefits. The temperature gets down to -165 C but is a different cold that’s dry and only effects half a millimeter into the skin. Cryo Care assists with arthritis, post-surgery recovery, car accident injuries, skin conditions (eczema, acne and cellulite), nerve damage, autoimmune disease, muscle pain, headaches, sleep patterns and low energy levels.
