Expect for a heavy dose of Mayhem in the North Okanagan on Mother鈥檚 Day (Sunday, May 12).

Mayhem, the two-year-old Bactrian camel that lives in Lavington, will be accepting all pets, hugs and kisses from visitors.

Adopted last March by couple Alex Schlosser and Alysha Bartlett, the two 鈥渋nstantly fell in love鈥 with the gangly goofball.

This year, he will be a part of the second annual Mayhem Mother鈥檚 Day event, hosted at Schlosser鈥檚 and Bartlett鈥檚 farm in Lavington.

While Mayhem is currently too young to be ridden, he will be happy to see all the smiling visitors.

Activities will be set up for the kids, including a card making station and flowers to pick for mom.

Visitors are invited to come out to 5907 Highway 6 from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Funds (by donation) are being raised for the Lavington Community Ice Rink and Santa鈥檚 Anonymous Society North Okanagan. There will also be prizes to be raffled off.
