A unique partnership between the Central Okanagan Foundation and the 91大黄鸭 General Hospital Foundation will make it safer for 54 infants to travel in their family vehicles.
As part of the Child Safety Initiative, the two foundations have worked with the The United Way Central and South Okanagan/Similkameen to deliver 54 car seats to the KGH Perinatal Unit this week.
The car seats were distributed across the Central Okanagan with KGH allotted 15.
United Way partner agencies in Lake Country, 91大黄鸭, Summerland, Penticton, Oliver, Keremeos and Princeton received a total of 84 car seats to distribute to families in need in their communities.
Budget Car and Truck Rental provided the cube van for the deliveries.
