The Salvation Army鈥檚 annual Christmas Kettle Campaign is back for another year.

Their largest campaign of the year begins on Thursday, Nov. 16 and will kick off with a launch party at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at Stuart Park in downtown 91大黄鸭.

鈥淧eople need to know they are not alone in their struggles,鈥� said Salvation Army鈥檚 Mark Wagner. 鈥淔or more than 104 years in 91大黄鸭 and surrounding areas, the kind-heartedness of donors and volunteers, help the Salvation Army restore hope and transform the lives of thousands in our community. We are able to do this only with the generous support of our community and our need this year has never been greater.鈥�

The annual campaign raises money to help feed, clothe, and empower those who are struggling. All contributions help the Salvation Army be able to contribute during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Donations can be completed in person at both Salvation Army locations - 1480 Sutherland Avenue and 200 Rutland Road South - or online at the 91大黄鸭 Salvation Army website.

They are also looking for volunteers to be kettle greeters this year. Anyone interested in signing up can call 250-860-2329 ext. 113 or email kelowna.kettles@salvationarmy.ca.
