Salmon Arm farm鈥檚 pumpkin patch fundraiser to support local food bank

Nick and Jane Parsons are once again offering people a chance to pick up a pumpkin and support a local food bank in the process.

Pumpkin Festival returns to the Parsons鈥� Green Acres farm at 1050 60th St. SW in Gleneden on Sunday, Oct. 22.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with outdoor games, treats and pumpkins 鈥� about 700 to choose from.

Entry is by donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Recommended are donations of $5 to $10 per pumpkin.
