A new fundraising idea in Penticton that coincided with 鈥淢ovember鈥� has led to almost $2,000 raised for the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation.

Businesses on Martin Street took part in a 鈥淪tash Bash,鈥� teaming up last month to support the $10 million Oncology Clinic.

Each location offered a $1 item on the menu, with funds from those sales going toward the foundation鈥檚 clinic.

The Hub hosted a best stash and beard competition with prizes as well at the end of November.
