Dinosaurs are stomping into 91大黄鸭.

The successful, Dinosaurs of BC exhibit, which debuted at the Royal BC Museum in 2023, is coming to the Okanagan Heritage Museum.

鈥淲e are so excited to be hosting this exhibit,鈥� said 91大黄鸭 Museums Society鈥檚 Curatorial Manager, Amanda Snyder. 鈥淲e鈥檝e all got dino-fever. Our visitors, especially the kids, are just as excited.鈥�

It鈥檚 an opportunity to get to know 鈥淏uster鈥�, the Iron Lizard of the Sustut River, and the other dinosaurs that once roamed the province.

The exhibit features a dig for dinosaur fossils, a dinosaur-themed 鈥楳yth Buster鈥� game, dinosaur eggs, and a draw to win a special dino-themed gift basket.

Support from the federal government and Chances Casino helped make the rental of the travelling exhibition possible.

Dinosaurs of BC will be at the Okanagan Heritage Museum from June 6 to September 30. Admission is by donation.

An opening celebration for Dinosaurs of BC is set for Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Okanagan Heritage Museum.
