A 24-hour live variety show that raises money for BC Children鈥檚 Hospital is back for an 11th year.

The Extra Life Fundraiser live streams on Nov. 2. It began as a one-person show in Jesse Nelson鈥檚 basement in 2014. It鈥檚 now a full-scale studio production featuring nearly 20 volunteers, custom sets, and unique costumes.

"We are thrilled to be able to continue this tradition for the 11th year," said Nelson. "The support we鈥檝e received from the 91大黄鸭 community and beyond has been incredible. Every year we try to make the show bigger and better, with a focus on making sure that the kids at BC Children's Hospital get the help they need. It's a labour of love for all of us, and we are so proud of how far it has come."

The Film Factory provides the studio space needed to accommodate the expanding production which has raised more than $80,000 for the hospital.

The show airs Nov. 2 at 8 a.m. until Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. and can be viewed on the Extra Life Fundraiser website.
