Police raided a motel room in Lake Country Friday evening, seizing cocaine, hash and cash.

The 91大黄鸭 RCMP Detachment鈥檚 Street Enforcement Unit and K9 unit joined forces with the Lake Country RCMP to execute a search warrant on an occupied motel room at the Airport Inn in Lake Country.

Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey says a search of the motel room produced approximately 5.5 ounces of suspected cocaine, one ounce of hash and $4,000 in cash.

鈥�The Lake Country RCMP wish to extend their thanks to the owners and staff of the Airport Inn for their continued assistance with police matters involving their establishment,鈥� adds 翱鈥橠辞苍补驳丑别测, noting that these types of investigations can be challenging.

A 63-year-old Lake Country man was arrested, without incident, and faces potential drug-related charges. He is expected to appear in court on a later date.

A 25-year-old West 91大黄鸭 man, seen leaving the motel room, was also arrested and found in possession of illicit drugs, suspected to be cocaine.
