Two Okanagan men are facing a series of drug-related charges after allegedly being caught with a lot of drugs.
An investigation started in late April 2016 culminated in the execution of a search warrant on a West 91大黄鸭 home and the seizure of large amounts of suspected heroin, cocaine and fentanyl.
The 91大黄鸭 RCMP Street Enforcement Team (SET), partnered with the West 91大黄鸭 RCMP, executed a search warrant June 14 shortly before 3 p.m., on a residence in the 4000 block of Pritchard Road North in West 91大黄鸭.
A search of the Pritchard Road residence yielding the following seizures:
- 372 grams of suspected crack cocaine; totalling 910 pieces pre-packaged for street sales
- 137 grams of suspected fentanyl;
- 82 grams of suspected heroin; totalling 350 pieces pre-packaged for street sales
- over $30,000 in Canadian currency;
- equipment consistent with the sale of illegal drugs;
"Brandon Tuovila of West 91大黄鸭 and Danae Manore of 91大黄鸭 were arrested in connection to the property," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release.
"They were held in police custody, taken before a Judicial Justice of the Peace and successfully remanded into police custody. The pair appeared in Court on June 16 at which time they were released from custody on strict conditions. They are both expected to re-appear in Court on June 30."
Brandon Tuovila has been formally charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Danae Manore has been formally charged with two counts of trafficking in a substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
