Project Literacy 91大黄鸭 Society and the Launch Community Development Foundation recently got a boost in the development of their financial literacy partnership with a recent donation.
The donation will help each organization build on its strengths and both groups are excited to move forward with improving access to financial literacy programming.
The donation by the 91大黄鸭 Executive Roundtable will allow the partners to offer a new session of facilitator training in the programs curriculum.
鈥淲e recognize that one learning style is not appropriate for all learners and we are committed to work together to enhance the delivery of the financial literacy curriculum through one-on-one instruction鈥 says Project Literacy 91大黄鸭 Society executive director Christine McWillis, 鈥淚t is believed that this enhancement will increase the number of people who access financial literacy services in the 91大黄鸭 area.鈥
Once the training is completed, some new program facilitators will be able to deliver the traditional group programs while others will enhance access to financial literacy programming with a new one-to-one delivery model.
Amber Kotak, program manager for Launch Community Development Foundation added: 鈥淭ogether, we hope to improve the lives of individuals by empowering them through education and equipping them with skills to direct and manage their money. We believe that as we build confidence and capacity in individuals, the community at large will benefit.鈥
